2. What Data We Collect

Video to Timelapse is designed with privacy by default. We collect no personal data and operate no backend infrastructure for this app.

Video & Media Files

Videos you select are processed entirely on your device using Apple's native frameworks. No video content is ever uploaded to our servers or any third-party server. Converted timelapses are saved directly to your device's photo library.

Purchase Data

If you purchase the premium unlock, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple. We use RevenueCat to verify your purchase status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your Apple purchase receipt — it does not receive your name, email, or any media files.

Technical Data

Apple may collect anonymised crash reports and basic usage analytics through the App Store, subject to your device's privacy settings. We do not directly access or control this data. See Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

3. Why We Collect This Data

The only data processing that occurs is purchase verification via RevenueCat, which is necessary to provide the premium features you paid for (contract performance, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

4. Third-Party Sub-Processors

We do not sell any data. The only third party involved is:

RevenueCat, Inc. (USA) verifies your in-app purchase receipt to unlock premium features. It receives only an anonymous app user ID and Apple purchase receipt data. It does not receive your name, email, or any media files.

All payment transactions are processed directly by Apple under their privacy policy. We do not handle or store your payment card details.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or Switzerland, you have the following rights:

• Access – request a copy of all data we hold about you.
• Correction – request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion – request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Portability – request your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection – object to processing based on legitimate interest.

6. Children's Privacy

Video to Timelapse does not collect personal data from any users, including children under 13. The app is safe for general audiences.

7. Data Retention

We retain no personal data on our servers. Purchase records held by RevenueCat and Apple are subject to their respective retention policies. Any crash data collected by Apple is subject to Apple's retention policies.

8. International Transfers

Purchase verification data processed by RevenueCat may be stored on servers in the USA. RevenueCat applies appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable data protection law.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
